About
About ReedSpot
ReedSpot is a timeline for writing. It looks and moves like a social feed, but every card on it is a post from a writer’s own blog, written to be read rather than skimmed past.
How it fits together
- The home timeline lists new posts from every writer, newest first. No ranking and no promoted posts.
- Profiles are blogs. Each writer has a page at
/their-handle/with a bio, a pinned introduction, categories and every post they have published. - Topics cross the site. The
#links gather posts on the same subject from different writers. - Replies are reviewed. Anyone can reply with a name; moderators approve guest replies before they appear.
Who writes here
Writer accounts are by invitation, so there is no sign-up page. Most posts are in Vietnamese and the interface is in English. Readers need nothing at all: no account, no app, no cookies.
Following along
“Follow” on ReedSpot means RSS. Every profile has its own feed, and /feed.xml carries the whole timeline. The team also keeps The Spot, a journal with notes about the site.
